Conveniently located in Fair Lawn, NJ, Apple Dentistry has been serving the community in the areas of general, restorative, and cosmetic dentistry since 2003. While we are located in Fair Lawn, we see patients who travel to us from all counties of New Jersey, and even out of state. We perform a large number of procedures such as Fillings, Root Canal Treatment, Dental Crowns and Bridges, Dental Veneers, Restoration of Dental Implants, Zoom Advanced Dental Whitening, and Dentures under one roof right in our office. Being able to provide all of these quality services in one location allows us to save you time by eliminating the need for time-consuming and costly specialist referrals.
OUR SERVICES
Virtually Pain-Free Dentistry
Your gums will be painlessly numbed with a gel. After this, a Lidocaine injection (the modern analog of Novocaine) will be slowly and gently delivered. After a few minutes of waiting, your teeth and gums shouldn’t feel any pain.
Examination, Cleaning, and Hygiene
We use the new state-of-the-art ultrasonic scaler, which allows us to perform virtually pain-free cleanings. The SPS technology greatly increases patient comfort because lower power can be used to achieve the same results. A dual Select dispensing system is specifically designed to deliver various optional medications to reduce gum inflammation, bleeding and to promote healing. In some cases, it may prevent the use of more invasive and expensive procedures such deep scaling and root planning. It will also improve the condition of periodontal tissues after the scaling.
We provide a topical fluoride treatment for children up to 15 years old, and resin sealants for deeply grooved permanent teeth (see more information on sealants in Children’s section). Every patient receives hygiene instruction, periodontal screening, and oral cancer screening. We routinely take X-Rays for full mouth viewing. All X-Rays utilize the digital system, which requires 90% less radiation than conventional methods
Oral Surgery
We provide pain-free dental extractions using a local anesthetic. Other services include crown lengthening surgery, root removal, hemi-sections, and bone recontouring to achieve better fitting for removable dentures.
Periodontics
Deep scaling and periodontal surgery are performed in the office for routine cases. More complex cases are referred to specialists. Periodontal maintenance appointments are scheduled at three or four-month intervals, as necessary.
Prosthodontics
This refers to the replacement of missing teeth. Whether you are missing one or all of your teeth, we can restore your function and good looks through a variety of fixed crowns and bridges or removable dentures. For those patients who are especially concerned with esthetics, we offer metal free partial dentures and crowns. We can restore maximum comfort and chewing ability. Feel free to ask for a prosthetic evaluation for your particular needs.
Antiseptic and Infection Control Procedures
Our antiseptic procedures meet and exceed the Center for Disease Control Guidelines:

We use barriers, single use instruments, gloves, gowns, masks, eye protection for each procedure to protect your health

We use only the very effective disinfectants approved by American Dental Association

We use only bottled or filtered water in all procedures
Root Canal (Endodontics)
We perform root canal therapy on both single and multi-canal teeth (front and back teeth). We routinely use a rubber dam for this procedure to keep the area clean and to make you feel more comfortable. Surgical endodontics (apicoectomy), as well as root amputations, are confidently done in the office if needed. Our root canal procedures are comfortable and pain-free
Cosmetic Dentistry
Cosmetics and self-esteem are the most important factors governing dentistry today. We offer a wide varieties of cosmetic services including teeth whitening, tooth-colored fillings (for both front and back teeth), ceramic veneers, porcelain and gold crowns and metal free esthetic partials. Pediatric Dentistry
Our goal is to provide children with the best dental care possible. We provide thorough and individual care for each and every child, and we will strive to make the dental visit a pleasant and comfortable experience for you and your child. We do exams, cleanings, fluoride treatment, fillings, extractions, pulpotomies, and stainless steel crowns.
Restorative Dentistry
We offer both traditional silver amalgam fillings as well as tooth-colored mercury-free fillings. Our services include crowns (caps), both porcelain-to-gold and full gold; bridges; full and partial removable dentures; ceramic crowns; inlays and veneers; and restorations on dental implants.

Dr. Bernice Leschinsky
General Dentist, Owner
University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine
Dr. Leschinsky graduated with honors from the University of Pittsburgh, School of Dental Medicine in Pennsylvania in 2001. In Dental school, Dr. Leschinsky actively pursued research in the areas of temporomandibular joint disorders and used different agents for periodontal regeneration to treat periodontal disease. Her research won the 1st place American Student Dental Association Award for Research. After graduation, Dr. Leschinsky completed a general practice dental residency in New York City. She then moved to New Jersey to start her practice.
Dr. Leschinsky remains up to date on innovations by taking continuing education courses and reading dental literature.
Dr. Leschinsky loves spending time with her husband of 20 years, their 3 wonderful children, and their pet rabbit, Beanie.
Dr. Philip Eisler

After completing his undergraduate degree in North Carolina, Dr. Eisler graduated from New York University College of Dentistry in 2020. He then went on to complete a 2 year advanced general practice residency in Staten Island, completing his Chief Residency year in June, 2022. A native of Bergen County, Dr. Eisler looks forward to giving back to the community he has grown so fond of. When he isn't in the clinic, you can find him enjoying the outdoors, catching a flick and spending time with his family.
